  • O QUE É UMA NFT?
    NFT é uma sigla ou abreviação da palavra em inglês "Non-Fungible Token", que em português significa “Token non-fungível”. É qualquer imagem ou símbolo digital, criptográfico, criado para representar uma nova forma de possuir bens ou ativos digitais, que garantem a propriedade exclusiva de um produto ou obra de arte única.
  • COMO SÃO USADAS AS NFTs?
    NFTs foram criadas para serem usadas como escassez digital verificável, bem como uma nova forma de propriedade digital para tornar possível a interoperabilidade de ativos em múltiplas plataformas através da sua troca, compra e venda. Elas podem ser usadas em várias aplicações que exijam itens digitais exclusivos como a arte criptografada e cripto-colecionáveis, criadas para este projeto em particular, no objetivo de ajudar em nossa missão de reflorestamento da Mata Atlântica.
  • COMO FUNCIONA A COMPENSAÇÃO DE CARBONO?
    A compensação envolvida no projeto é voluntária, a começar pelo cálculo que mede as emissões de gases de efeito estufa relacionados a um tipo de perfil escolhido, em relação a um estilo de vida ou atividades diárias de rotina. Os valores são convertidos em quantidade de carbono equivalente, para depois serem calculados na área florestal necessária para absorver e armazenar este carbono. Nosso projeto foi desenvolvido em colaboração com o projeto de compensações emissões e reflorestamento da Iniciativa Verde (Carbon Free), focado em reparar o carbono atmosférico, seguindo os parâmetros ambientais estabelecidos pela Resolução SMA - 030 de 14 de Maio de 2009, formulada com o objetivo de estabelecer parâmetros para projetos voluntários de reflorestamento como o nosso, a fim de compensar as emissões de gases de efeito estufa. Este reflorestamento ambiental foca não só em sequestrar e armazenar carbono da atmosfera, mas também aumentar a qualidade ambiental de paisagens naturais, maximizando os benefícios para a biodiversidade, recursos hídricos e conservação do solo.
  • O QUE É SEQUESTRO DE CARBONO?
    Chamamos de sequestro de carbono é o processo de captar e armazenar o dióxido de carbono atmosférico. Isto é, um método criado para reduzir a quantidade de dióxido de carbono na atmosfera com o objetivo de reduzir as alterações climáticas globais através de dois principais tipos de processos de sequestro de carbono: geológico e biológico.
  • COMO AS EMISSÕES SÃO CALCULADAS?
    As emissões de gases de efeito estufa são baseadas em um banco de dados estimados com base no Protocolo GEE (Gases de Efeito Estufa), adaptado para o Brasil pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas, e outras pesquisas científicas relacionadas.
  • COMO É FEITA A DIVISÃO DOS RECURSOS GERADOS PELA VENDA DOS NFTs DO PROJETO OS GREENIES?
    O sucesso do projeto é medido pelo impacto, que se reflete em como é gasto o seu dinheiro investido. 80% do valor das NFT’s vão para o programa Carbon Free da ONG Iniciativa Verde onde 100% é utilizado para o plantio de árvores na Mata Atlântica. Os 20% restantes cobrem os custos da operação – incluindo despesas administrativas, artista, staff, comunicação e marketing, além da hospedagem da plataforma. Todas nossas NFT's possuem um Certificado Oficial de Neutralização de Carbono (Carbon Free) Nós valorizamos a transparência e confiança como pilares do nosso projeto, assim como estimamos a integridade do nosso planeta.
  • QUAL É O IMPACTO DO PROJETO PARA O PLANETA?
    Muitas pessoas se preocupam e se importam com o futuro do planeta, mas não sabem como podem contribuir de forma significativa. Nós criamos uma plataforma de venda de NFTs aliada a um projeto de reflorestamento, que tem como objetivo plantar 1 milhão de árvores no bioma Mata Atlântica contribuindo de forma significativa para a redução de gases do efeito estufa (GEE) na atmosfera. Projetos como o reflorestamento são todos altamente classificados como positivos em termos de soluções para mudanças climáticas significativas no planeta.
  • COMO VOCÊ PODE PROVAR O MEU IMPACTO?
    Iremos mantê-lo atualizado a respeito do plantio das árvores em nosso Twitter e através do site da ONG Iniciativa Verde. As atividade de reflorestamento com as plantações de árvores realizadas por nosso parceiros, você pode checar a website da Iniciativa Verde para verificar quantos créditos de carbono foram removidos ou evitados na atmosfera através do total emitido pelo projeto (você poderá ver o total de créditos de carbono equivalente coletado pelo The Greenies).
  • NOSSAS PEGADAS DE CARBONO REALMENTE IMPORTAM?
    O impacto causado pelas nossas pegadas de carbono depende de uma série de fatores, incluindo onde moramos e como escolhemos viver nossas vidas. Mesmo vivendo de forma simples e, de alguma forma, sustentável, há um custo de carbono incalculável para quase tudo que consumimos e gastamos. Nós reconhecemos que o conceito de uma pegada de carbono individual é controverso, especialmente ao considerar que, na maior parte das vezes, a maioria das emissões relatadas vem de uma parcela de empresas com emissões ultra elevadas. No entanto, o nosso projeto foi construído ao redor do conceito de que até mesmo pequenas ações podem ter grandes impactos. E nós esperamos inspirar milhões de outros indivíduos que se importam com o planeta, além de apreciar arte, da mesma forma que nós inspiramos você. Portanto, a pegada de carbono individual pode ser uma via útil para nos ajudar a contribuir com uma pequena parcela dessa enorme carga de responsabilidade.
  • WHAT’S A NFT?
    NFT is the abbreviation for "Non-Fungible Token", a digital symbol to represent a new way of own digital goods or assets, ensuring a sole ownership of a unique, one-of-a-kind product or work of art. They are sold and traded using cryptocurrency or fiat payments, corresponding with a real or digital object or representation of a piece of art, a music track, a video or an item to use in a game. In other words, NFTs are unique, non-interchangeable units of data stored on a digital ledger, called blockchain, which contains a piece of identifying information that makes them distinguishable from all other tokens. Because no tokens are the same, they cannot be traded or exchanged at an equivalent rate or broken down into smaller units like currency.
  • WHAT ARE NFTs USED FOR?
    NFTs were created to be used as a verifiable digital scarcity, as well as a way of digital ownership to make possible the interoperability of assets across multiple platforms by being exchanged, sold and bought. They can be used in various applications that require unique digital items such as cryptographic art and crypto-collectibles, created in this project to help on our mission of the Atlantic Forest reforestation.
  • HOW DOES CARBON OFFSET WORK?
    The project offset is voluntary, starting by measuring the greenhouse gas emissions related to a type of chosen profile, according to your daily activities or lifestyle. The values are converted into carbon equivalent, to then be calculated into the forest area in the Atlantic Forest necessary to absorb and store this carbon. Our project is designed in collaboration/partnership with the Iniciativa Verde project of emission offsets and forest restoration, aiming to fix atmospheric carbon, by following guidelines established by Resolution SMA - 030 of May 14, 2009, which was formulated with the objective to establish guidelines for voluntary reforestation projects, like ours, to offset greenhouse gas emissions. These forest restorations aim not only to remove and store carbon from the atmosphere, but to increase the environmental quality of rural landscapes, maximizing benefits for biodiversity, water resources and soil conservation.
  • WHAT IS CARBON SEQUESTRATION?
    Carbon sequestration is a process of capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide. It is a method created to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere with the goal of reducing global climate change, through two major types of carbon sequestration processes: geologic and biologic.
  • HOW ARE EMISSIONS CALCULATED?
    Greenhouse gas emissions are estimated databases such as the GHG Protocol, adapted for Brazil by Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and other scientific researches.
  • HOW MUCH OF MY MONEY GOES INTO THE OS GREENIES PROJECT?
    Our success is measured in impact, and this is reflected in how we spend your money. 80% of the NFT’s value goes to funding to Iniciativa Verde NGO´s Program Carbon Free, in which 100% is destined to replantation trees at the Atlantic Forest. The remaining 20% covers operational costs and everything else – such as administrative expenses, artist spent hours, communication and marketing, as well as da platform hosting. All NFTs have an Official Carbon Free Certificate. We treasure transparency and trust as core values of our project as much as we treasure the integrity of our planet.
  • WHAT'S THE PROJECT IMPACT ON THE PLANET?
    Billions of people are concerned and care about the future of the planet, but don’t know how to make a meaningful contribution. Our way to contribute was to create a platform that allows us to make some impact on a small part of the world, which has a huge role in the atmosphere as a natural biome. Besides you will be contributing and helping preserve one of the greatest forests in the world through acquiring art, and help continuing the process of carbon awareness in the process. We developed a platform to sell NFTs in conjunction to a reforestation project, within a main objective of planting 1 million trees at the Atlantic Forest, contributing in a significant way to reduce greenhouse gasses (GHG) in the atmosphere. Projects like reforestation, are all ranked highly in terms of climate change solutions.
  • HOW CAN YOU PROVE MY IMPACT?
    We will keep you updated about the tree reforestation throughout our profile on Twitter and at Iniciativa Verde NGO´s website. The tree-planting activities realized by our partners can be checked on the Iniciativa Verde´s website to follow up on how much carbon credits were removed or avoided from the atmosphere by the total project (you can see the overall carbon credits equivalent collected by The Greenies).
  • DO OUR CARBON FOOTPRINTS REALLY MATTER?
    The impact of our footprints depend on a number of factors, including where we live and how we choose to live our lives. Even living a simple, and somehow sustainable life, there’s a mind-boggling carbon cost for almost anything we consume and spend your money on. We recognise that the concept of an individual carbon footprint is controversial, especially considering that most emissions reported come from just a small cabal of ultra-high emitting companies. However, our project was built around a concept that even small actions count as the most. And we are hoping to inspire others by collecting action from millions of individuals that care about the planet and appreciate art, in the same way we inspired you. In this way, the individual carbon footprint can be a useful framework to help us chip in with a small share of the load.
